Broken Glass

Recycling

Athens Services accepts in the recycling broken glass from jars and bottles only. No broken auto glass, ceramics, dishes, glassware, light bulbs, mirrors, and/or window glass.

Athens is able to separate and recycle broken glass. Once at the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), broken glass is sorted through mechanical separation. The glass is then moved to its own dedicated section where it is loosely gathered and sent to a glass recycling facility.
