The Library Foundation of Los Angeles store accepts donations of books, DVDs, videos, CDs, cassette tapes, and audio books. All proceeds from sales benefit the Los Angeles Public Library. Please visit their website for more information. Check your local library to see if they also take donations. 

Mail-In Options

  • CD Recycling Center of America – takes CD, DVD Disc, InkJet cartridges, Cell Phones, small electronics, mp3 players, charges, floppy disks, computer cables, printer cables, extension cords, and strings of lights.
  • GreenDisk– takes CD, DVD Disc, floppy disks, cases, VHS, cassette tapes, computer drives, cell phones and similar, rechargeable batteries, small electronics, inkjet and toner cartridges, black and white film (only) and negatives, x-rays, electronic accessories. See website for full list.
  • Back Thru the Future, Technology Recycling – takes CDs and DVDs.
